I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in January 2003 and have over 25 years experience in the accountancy profession dealing with limited companies, sole traders and partnerships. A key skill of mine is to take the jargon out of accountancy and being able to explain issues clearly and concisely. As well as ensuring your accounts and tax affairs are in order and any tax liability minimised, I also deal with many different business issues for clients and help find cost effective solutions.
My role is very much behind the scenes. I look after the processes that make the office run smoothly and ensuring the client database is kept up to date. It will be me sending you emails requesting details for our client onboarding procedure and checking we have the correct authorities in place for you at HMRC and Companies House. Having worked in the public and private sector I bring organisational and business skills to the mix but definitely not accountancy, tax or payroll knowledge, I leave that to the professionals in the team!
I qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2010 and have worked in accountancy practices for over 20 years. I have experience of working with clients of various sizes and across many industries. I enjoy the challenge of working with different clients and building strong working relationships with them. I find it very rewarding watching businesses grow and develop and enjoy supporting them along the way. It gives me great satisfaction to work with business owners to help them become more efficient and improve profitability.
I joined DPM Accounting Services in August 2026 having 30 years experience in running payroll for multiple organisations within an accountancy practice environment. I am used to handling payroll for larger and smaller companies on both weekly and monthly basis. I am a fully qualified FCIPP (Associate of the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals) I stay up to date on the always changing rules and regulations relating to payroll and pensions so you can rely on me to keep your business compliant.
I am the main point of contact when you phone DPM as I enjoy answering the phone and helping people. I have worked in accountancy since 2015 and after completing my AAT level 4 qualification in 2019 I moved over to payroll for several years before switching back to a more accounts based role when I joined DPM in May 2021. Most of my time is spent preparing year end accounts, tax returns and VAT returns however I also help Elaine, Payroll Manager, every week on payroll duties to keep my knowledge up to date and to allow for a seamless payroll service when Elaine is out of the office. I like the challenge and variety that working on both payroll and accounts brings to my working week. I am a Certified Advanced Quickbooks Advisor, Xero Advisor and the office First Aider.
At DPM we have a very experienced and qualified bookkeeper who joined us in 2024. Our Practice Bookkeeper provides a first class bookkeeping and VAT service to our client’s that take advantage of this service. I enjoy working at DPM and being part of the team. Having completed my apprenticeship and AAT Level 3 qualification in February 2024 I have now completed my AAT Level 4 qualification in June 2025. I am now looking at continuing my studies with ACCA.
